Thanks so much for clearing up the mystery of your move! So now that you've caught us up what things have changed and what have stayed the same? As in are you still doing T-Tapp? What does wearing flip-flops all day do for your shoe fetish? Any new beauty products that you've discovered in your new location?

Glad to hear that you are starting to make friends. I know that was a big part of who you were in DC. Can't wait to hear how the party goes tonight. I'll be spending it in some fleecy pants, wrapped in a blanket and watching tv. It's cold right now in NC!

I am so glad to know this part of your story. I've been wondering and hoping that you're happy in Florida. It sounds like a huge change -- I can imagine it would take a lot of adjustment. I am certain you will make wonderful, life-long friends, Summer. I admire your bravery -- I hope 2009 treats you well.

Thanks for this post, Summer! I've been so curious about the circumstances of your move. Good luck on the friends front.

eh, wasn't such a big surprise for me, LOL~! I say ANY move past college takes a least six months for the initial adjustment. Yoga's a rather introverted class, so making friends hasn't worked for me either unless I am part of a very small class. And, making friends was the easiest at that life-changing point of having children, playgroup thing. I find people hang onto these friends, not making much effort to new relationships, which is hard if you move. Or, they go back to work to keep them busy and find friends there. It took me a couple years to find my niche here.
