OOOHH! I was IN LOVE with The Limited in middle school! It was THE cool store. Thanks for the tip..I plan to go shopping tomorrow. Thanks to TTapp, I need some new (smaller) pants :)Do you ever go to Filene's Basement? They have some awesome deals right now. That is the only reason I wear any designer clothes...sales!

Hey Summer!

I got your DVD in the mail on Friday, so I'll vet that this week...

The Limited? Argh, I have bad bad memories of that place. My MOM shopped there back in the 80's. With the ten-button t-shirts and the peasant skirts with the ruffles peeking out the bottom. ARGH!

The Limited was THE place to shop indeed. Oh how I used to covet the popular girls' Forenza sweaters.

I would add one guideline to your shopping: don't be embarrassed to return something if you get it home and realize you don't love it as much as you did in the store. That happens to me all the time and I am a *shameless* returner. The salespeople give me the eye, but whatever -- I've saved the $$$ for something I'll wear all the time.

And no, you are not the only one with different-size breasts. I thought I was a freak until the woman who altered my wedding dress slipped a pad in my bra -- she kept them handy for such cases, so I guess that is common!

Bring a pair of shoes in your bag?! You're forgetting that this is not an option for those of us with huge feet, like my post baby size 11s. Seriously, I don't carry bags hat big. I did manage to find two pairs of 11s on sale at Marshall's for $15 in styles that I would actually wear. This is the first time since Joey that I've been able to buy clearance shoes in my size. It's been a banner shopping week for me too.

BTW I haven't actually been in there for years but judging from the window displays I've noticed that Limited has aged with our generation too. I can really see it featuring cruise wear when we're little old ladies too.

wedding, hmmm......?

Wierd advice:
Go to a mall in an area that caters to asian women. The Macy's and nordstrom near my college, which had a very high asian population, had huge petites department, as well as lots of 0's and 2's. Also, have you tried Ann Taylor Loft?
