After writing about a million posts about (subject), I decided that I was really sick of writing only about (subject), and if I was sick of writing about it, chances were good that you were sick of reading about it. It's not as if (subject) is the most fascinating part of my body, y'know? That would be my boobs. I mean, my brain. Brain, of course.
"I've got to think of something else to write about," I told myself. But thinking up another topic proved surprisingly difficult, as (subject) has quite literally circumscribed my life. Most days I don't even leave my house. The big outing of the week was on Thursday, when I accompanied my son to his annual well-child checkup AND went to Publix afterward to get milk and eggs. Driven by my husband, of course, and then pushed by him through the store on a "shopper's aid" cart consisting of a regular cart with a mini park bench attached to it. (Note: if you are a young, healthy looking person riding in a cripple cart in the grocery store, you will not get funny looks if you are also clutching crutches. Pitying looks, yes, but I can deal with that.)(Crap. Wrote about it again.)
From here on out, I'm going to keep it above the waist. Or at least above the knees. I've thought of a few things I'd like to write about, but I'm going to let you vote on which one you want to read first. So tell me, which are you most anxious to read?
1. Which show I'm currently obsessed with watching on YouTube. (It's fabulous.)
2. A treatise on bikinis, including a discussion of fashion and crucial tips on finding bikinis that will fit even the most startling figures without having to endure depressing bikini shopping trips.
3. I lied. There is no third topic that doesn't involve the subject I've been trying to avoid. I do have more things to say about it, so if you want more of the same, vote for 3.
What say you?
i vote for the fabulous show. i am always looking for a new way to waste my time, it seems of late.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, but hopefully it heals soon! I went to a drum circle at my inlaws' place. Hmm, I wonder if it is the same beach!
